Animal Seizures
My Boston Terrier started having seizures around the age of four. The vet prescribed some medication for her, which caused her to gain a lot of weight and makes her extremely thirsty. She even started to get a lot of gray hairs. I think it was from all the stress. The medication seemed to cause other issues as well and she is still having seizures. Anyway, I started giving her OCMEDS’ tincture and their ACDC RSO. Both worked great. I give the RSO at night and the tincture during the day. Not sure why I do it in that order though? I stopped her medication cold turkey (although I was told not too), and all went well. In the last 3-4 years, she has had only 3 seizures. Once was due to stopping the daily dose and the other two was from cutting back the overall dose amount too much. Medicating this way is unchartered territory. There is no doctor to call. It is trial and error. So far, it has saved my Mimi’s life. I can try to help answer questions, but the other post I made in the forums produced a lot of calls and it was difficult for me to return them all. Text me at 714-904-5531 with any questions you may have. The volunteers at OCMEDS can assist you as well.
Some details:
Mimi weighs 18 pounds (Please base your dose on weight)
ACDC RSO dose amount: A quarter size of a grain of rice. Basically a speck of the oil. I put it on a dog treat or hotdog. Use the high CBD oil. Not the THC. THC will cause psychoactive effects.
Tincture dose amount: I started with a half dropper full. After many months, I went to a full dropper. I have never increased more than that.
Good luck,
Mel
